Thrift shops trend has become a lucrative business opportunity for young people in Indonesia. This opportunity leads Thrift Week to be the first organization that held an occasional event inviting a lot of online thrift stores around Indonesia. The event is located at several venues in Jakarta. The purpose of this organization is to provide an open market for thrift goods for the young community in Indonesia. We helped Thrift Week to enhance its brand presence on social media through feed and posters designs.
As thrift shopping is identified with an urban lifestyle, we came up with a sketch design inspired by several places in Paris and Japan which has a heavy influence on the Indonesian thrift market. The design process is developed by combining vintage pop-funk style as a guideline to strengthen the thrift looks. We combine the design styles with muted colors to bring out the vintage vibe yet feels fun, friendly, and cheerful.
